Domain
About Caution-Tape.net is really just a domain name for all my other websites. I got sick of having to depend on people I didn't really know to host my site - not that I wasn't grateful for their help, but sometimes they were irrisponsible and didn't inform me that they weren't going to continue paying for their domain.
I lost my host for my Lord of the Rings fan site half a year ago, and I was at a complete loss. She hadn't told me, and I wasn't able to contact her at all. So I wandered around for months trying to find a host, but no one was up for it. Meanwhile, my other two sites were floating around at Freewebs, and I'd been trying to find them a suitable home for quite some time. I had changed from free host to free host so long, and I was just fed up with the ads and the requirements you had to keep with.
I was searching the web one day and I found this site called HostMonster, and the price seemed too good to be true. My eyes flew over the word "umlimited" about fifteen times and my mouth went slack. I thought, "Well, I have enough websites to make my own network. Why not do it?" On May 9th 2009, I bought my domain, caution-tape.net, and vwala!, here I am.

Name I was actually on the phone with one of my friends when I came up with this. I was asking her to help me think of a domain name that I could use, and then suddenly Bones, one of my favorite TV shows, popped into my head. I was thinking about how they're always crossing the yellow crime scene tape, and I just thought, "Caution Tape. Yeah, that sounds cool." Not a very interesting story, but what can I say? Sometimes I don't have very elaborate scheming for my site's names.
